About Kenneth Skoubølling Jacobsen — Founder of Frame One Motion

Kenneth Skoubølling Jacobsen, founder and owner of Frame One Motion, was born on March 21st, 1979, and raised in a small town in Denmark. His passion for film and music sparked early in life. Right after his confirmation, he used his gift money to buy a video camera—and that was the beginning of it all.

In 1994, Kenneth enrolled in a local film and TV production school, diving headfirst into hands-on learning. Driven by raw passion, he quickly embraced every part of the process—ideation, producing, directing, cinematography, and editing.

A few years later, he started freelancing for TV networks as a videographer and editor. On the side, he wrote, shot, directed, and edited his first independent short film, which entered a national short film competition.

Since then, Kenneth has created an impressive body of work—producing, directing, filming, writing, and/or editing short films, music videos, commercials, documentaries, corporate videos, TV programs, intros, and concert productions.

In 2014, he added his first feature film to the resume: BACKGAMMON. He wore multiple hats on the project—Visual Director, Assistant Director, Producer, Director of Photography, and Editor. The film went on to win several international awards.

In the industry, Kenneth is known for getting the absolute most out of any production—pushing creative boundaries and delivering content that sticks with you. With nearly three decades of experience, he’s worked alongside some of the most talented directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, sound engineers, grips, and colorists. When a project needs more than just two hands, his deep network shows up strong.

Kenneth is a team player and a true multi-talent. He’s a determined filmmaker with a keen eye for visuals and a deep love for music—passions that fuel his storytelling and bring genuine emotion to the screen.
